He is past CEO of three Electromagnetic Compatibility companies (EMC) in Metro Washington, D.C., the last of which traded on NASDAQ. Don has written and published 13 technical books, which became well known and used worldwide in electronics circles. Don also taught over 14,000 engineers via seminars in 39 countries over a 20-year span. At Don White Consultants he published a bimonthly trade journal called EMC Technology, circulated over four continents. Therein he also wrote many tutorial articles. Don received an IEEE award for EMC education and publishing. He is a life-time senior member of IEEE. He is past president of IEEE professional group, the EMC Society.
