As a part of CBS Corporation, the division owns and operates 117 radio stations in 26 markets. Basil Rathbone appeared in over eighty films including Captain Blood, The Adventures of Robin Hood, and The Comedy of Terrors, and made thirteen appearances in the tremendously popular Sherlock Holmes series. Jack Webb (1920-1982) was an American actor, television producer, director, and screenwriter, who is most famous for his role as Sgt. Joe Friday in the Dragnet franchise (which he created). He was the founder of his own production company, Mark VII Limited. Frank Sinatra (1915-1998) was a singer, actor, and producer and one of the most popular and influential musical artists of the twentieth century. He has three stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his work in film, music, and television. He won eleven Grammy Awards and an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in From Here to Eternity. Vincent Price's film career included such classics as Tower of London, Laura, The Fall of the House of Usher, The Tomb of Ligeia and Tales of Terror. Alan Ladd (1913-1964) was an award-winning American actor and film and television producer. He found cinematic success in the 1940s and 1950s, particularly in Westerns and film noir. He is especially known for his role in the movie Shane. Though he came to stardom as a musical comedy performer, he began acting in romantic leading man roles, but in 1944, his career changed dramatically when he was cast in the first of a series of noir films as private detective Philip Marlowe. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
