Another facile assumption the dogmatic materialists make is that we live in a cold, dead, random, meaningless universe. I, for one, feel sorry for them. Why do they not see intelligence and order in an atom? An atom is certainly not a random entity! It is extraordinarily complex, and engages in a subtle, beautiful dance, making possible everything you see, including that face in the mirror. How everything can be considered a total accident makes very little sense. There is order and beauty everywhere one looks. But once again, we re always distracted, usually by trivialities. --James A. Heffernan, author

Author Information

James A. Heffernan is relatively new to the writing scene, but his unique perspective on the nature of reality can enlighten and inspire all readers and provide them with the sense that there is much more to human existence than meets the eye. This is an existence that, Heffernan feels, is anything but banal and boring, as his work is designed to show. Heffernan studied physics and anthropology at the University of Utah, focusing especially on the foundations of the new physics on the one hand, and on the psychology of aboriginal hunter-gatherers on the other -- having hardly suspected that he would find meaningful parallels between the two. Along such lines, his first book was published titled: The Reality of Hunter-Gatherers. Heffernan is a very gifted writer and he posses the unique ability to make complex subjects simple. In all his writing, he writes from the soul, and hopes the reader appreciates the connection.
