Overview

Founded in Melbourne in 1972, the Australian architectural firm Denton Corker Marshall is one of the most important actors in the Pacific region. DCM is represented in East Asia as well as the Near East and Europe with numerous structures and also has offices in Jakarta and London. In the last five years DCM has substantially increased its international presence with ambitious and widely noted building projects and showcased its modern architectural language, which is marked by minimalism and as cool as it is unusual. Among the most important recent projects presented by the volume are the Civil Justice Center in Manchester, UK; Webb Bridge in Melbourne, Australia; and the Dongqianhu International Educational Forum in Ningbo, China. With the Chong Qing International New Town the firm has taken on the planning of an entire city for the first time.
