He is one of Israel's foremost experts on espionage and the official biographer of David Ben-Gurion and Shimon Peres. He also wrote the biography of Isser Harel, the legendary director of the Mossad, and coauthored The Quest for the Red Prince, which dealt with the bloody war between the Mossad and Black September. Nissim Mishal is one of the foremost television personalities in Israel. After graduating with a master's degree in political science, he joined the staff of the Israeli state television and worked as a political reporter, Washington correspondent, and director-general. He has published two bestselling books about great events in Israel's history. Assaf Cohen grew up in Palo Alto, and attended UC Berkeley where he earned a bachelor's degree in integrative biology. Later, Cohen continued his classical training by earning a master of fine arts in acting from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, under the instruction of legendary acting instructor William Esper.
