OverviewI have found that human nature is the same today as it was years ago. We are driven by the same passions today as in the past. Growing up, Jeffery Davis Page never learned much about his family's history. The older generations were very tight-lipped about their past, as though they were ashamed. Jeff assumed their silence was due to his family's Southern roots, and the South's controversial history, but he didn't know anything for certain. Ready to unveil the mystery surrounding his family's background, Jeff launched into a five-year journey to discover the details of his past, the secrets of his ancestry, and the impacts his family made throughout American history. No Grass Grows Under Our Feet is an homage to family legacy, Southern culture, and the many paths that led us to where we are today.
