She holds a BA in Political Science from Colgate University and a PhD in international relations from Columbia University. She was foreign-policy assistant to former President Richard Nixon from June 1990 to April 1994, and served as an editorial adviser and research consultant for Nixon's Seize the Moment in 1992 and Beyond Peace in 1994. Anna Fields (1965-2006), winner of more than a dozen Earphones Awards and the prestigious Audie Award in 2004, was one of the most respected narrators in the industry.
