Ashamed of her newfound food insecurity, Nia leaves the local food rescue with an empty box. Afterward, when confronted with the reality of food waste, she reconsiders accepting help by embracing the power she already has within herself. Gina has been a professional ghostwriter since 2019. She began publishing her work in 2015 and has appeared in several places since including Imperfectly Perfect Mama and Potato Soup Journal. As an active member of SCBWI and 12x12 Picture Book Challenge, when she's not reading, she's writing everything from picture books to memoirs. She lives in Ohio with her family. Abi Eaton is a professional artist specializing in mixed-media painting and illustration. Inspired by nature, the wonder of children, and the mysteries of life, she works in her backyard art studio, where she also teaches classes. She lives with her husband and three children in Colorado.
