Author Information

Joad Raymond is Professor of Renaissance Studies at Queen Mary University of London. He has published widely on John Milton, the history of news, pamphleteering, and the book trade in early modern Britain. Noah Moxham is postdoctoral research fellow in History at the University of St Andrews. He is a historian of early modern science and communication and has published widely on the relationship between scientific institutions and publishing in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
