Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationRalph Tancredi started taking trumpet lessons in Italy as a tiny 9 year old. Born in 1921, Ralph's family emigrated to the US when he was 15. While still in high school he became a professional musician. Ralph went on the road with the big bands of the time, as vocalist, trumpet player, and arranger. He was even a music specialist in the army during WWII. What perhaps is the most remarkable thing about Ralph is that the recordings of the songs in this music book were recorded while he was in his late 80's, and with Parkinson's. Ralph still sings and plays his trumpet at 87. Ralph and his wife Barbara, are both devout Christians, and throughout their years together as church music leaders, they wrote many songs. Ralph wrote most of the melodies and all of the arrangements (except A Mother's Love ). Barbara wrote most of the lyrics. They make a good team in music and in life - just as God planned all along. These songs are available on CD, as well as a TRAX for accompanying singers. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
