Lyric Rivera (they/them) from Austin, Texas, is an Autistic self-advocate who runs the internationally recognized NeuroDivergent Rebel blog. The NeuroDivergent Rebel was launched in the fall of 2016 to introduce people unfamiliar with Neurodiversity to this new perspective on neurological differences. The blog explores the ideology of Neurodiversity and the creative expressions of Autistic people. Rivera's blog pushes for acceptance of neurological differences and respect for the autonomy of NeuroDivergent people. Lyric is also the owner of NeuroDivergent Consulting and the author of the best-selling business ethics book Workplace NeuroDiversity Rising, which was praised in Forbes as ""an excellent 'how to manual' based on lived experience and professional competence.""
