Author Information

Michael von Wolff is Head of the Division of Gynaecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine at the Women`s University Hospital, Berne, Switzerland. He has studied and worked in Germany, London, New York and most recently in Switzerland. His research focuses on fertility preservation, follicular physiology, natural cycle and minimal stimulation in vitro fertilization (IVF). He has founded the international network “IVF-Naturelle”, a network of centers specialized in natural cycle IVF and minimal stimulation IVF. He supports these techniques politically and clinically and performed around 30 studies covering this topic which all contributed to this book. He interprets natural cycle IVF and minimal stimulation IVF techniques as complementary but not competitive to conventional gonadotropin stimulated IVF.
