Elizabeth A. Jackson has been to many parts of the world and collected information and photos of the countries' beauty, including their national animals. Learning about the behaviour and environment of these animals was often the highlight of the tours. Animals would also become a part of great bedtime stories with her children. She continued to share the same fun facts with her grandchildren, who encouraged her to write and create this book.
