Nai Ruton ka Safar, is the very first book of poetry collection by Raoof Khalish which consists of his selected poetry. رؤف خلش لکھتے ہیں --- 'نئی رُتوں کا سفر' میرا پہلا شعری انتخاب ہے۔ نئی رتوں کا سفر، میرے نزدیک ایک تخلیقی اور ذہنی عمل ہے احساس و مشاہدہ کا، اور اس وسیلہ سے خود اپنی بازیافت کا ۔۔۔۔۔۔ اگر جینا ایک سچائی ہے تو سوچنا، بولنا، لکھنا اور پڑھنا ایک تجربہ ہے اپنی ہی جبلتوں کو کھوج نکالنے کا، نتیجہ کی سطحیں الگ الگ ہو سکتی ہیں۔ کم از کم مجھے ادب کی یہی توجیہہ سمجھ میں آتی ہے۔ 1960ء کے اوائل میں میرے ادبی سفر کا آغاز ہوا۔ تاہم یہ انتخاب 1962ء سے کیا گیا ہے۔ میں اپنی اٹھارہ سالہ شاعری کا انتخاب پیش کرتے ہوئے مطمئن کم ہوں، مضطرب زیادہ ۔۔۔ غالباً اس لئے کہ اظہار و بیان کی وسیع تر جہتوں کی تلاش یہی چاہتی ہے۔
