Overview

It's 1969 and Myles is enjoying student life in Dublin. He flies to the States for a lucrative summer job on the shores of Lake Michigan. There, his careless affairs and reckless adventures lead him into trouble, and he leaves behind a trail of broken promises and heartache. Back in Dublin, he almost finds his way to love and maturity, but he lets it slip away. He stumbles into the realities of working life in London, where his friends are learning to leave behind their student ways. Eventually, he's forced to confront his own fecklessness and mistakes.
