A business owner, busy wife and mother of two adorable young ladies, living and loving life in the gorgeous beachside town of Yanchep, Western Australia. Originally from Dunedin in New Zealand, Diana's love of reading came from her mum and big sister reading to her at an early age, the wonderful stories of Winnie the Pooh and Beatrix Potter. These authors inspired and influenced me greatly. Amazing people and their beautiful words took me to another world as a child, where anything is possible and encouraged me to dream of becoming a writer myself someday. It wasn't until she met her now-husband (Kerry) that Diana started believing that her dream may become a reality. I overheard Kerry talking to a friend, and he said; She will write a book one day I know she will. I looked at him and realised he meant what he said, and although I had only thought of it as a dream, he really believed I could do it. I showed the first draft of My Grateful Book to a friend, and suddenly the dream took on a life of its own. I thought about the finished book, and with tears in my eyes, my heart just soared. We had great feedback on My Grateful Book and now My Welcome Book, the second in a series focused on encouraging and supportive life lessons for small children, is receiving fabulous feedback too. With the second book out I've finally started calling myself an Author. I wholeheartedly encourage others to follow your dreams; you never know where it may lead you or the experiences you'll have along the way.
