Reviews

A phenomenal, but heart wrenching story of life's unpredictable path down an entirely different trail than originally planned...Romance, family, sacrifice, and loss are all artistically woven into a beautiful memoir. -- Hodge Wood, Military Writers Society of America My Special Force is a raw and candid view into the love, resilience and legacy of one of our Nation's heroes and the family that stood behind him...no matter what. Heather and Ryan shared something that transcends time and goes straight to the heart of anyone blessed with the ability to know their story. A must-read for military and non-military, alike. It's guaranteed to leave every reader with a bit more inspiration and a bit more will to hug those we love extra tight. -- Taryn Davis, Founder and Executive Director, American Widow Project A memoir can only be considered excellent literature if the author reveals the whole unvarnished truth. And Heather Means holds nothing back... -- Franklin Cox, author of Lullabies for Lieutenants An amazing story of love and strength of the human spirit... -- Bill Expertly, Amazon
