Author Information

Best known as an educator for 30 plus years and still substituting, Carol's focus has always been about the kids. Carol is the mother of 5, Grandmother of 16 and Great-Grandmother of 2. As a stay at home mom, Carol returned to college to finish her degree and 33 years ago this story began in a Children's Literature class. At this time, she was helping her Mom and family take care of her Dad who suffered from Alzheimer's Disease. One day, she promised herself she would finish this book. Carol is proud to say that she can cross this off her bucket list. Every family is affected by some sort of disease. Dealing with it and understanding how it affects each person in the family can sometimes prove to be difficult. She hopes this book will help family members work through the changes in their life when affected by this disease. Compassion, empathy and respect must work together during this journey of love.
