OverviewThere are old spies and bold spies, but no old, bold spies. Other than an occasional phone call, Edwin Terrell, Jr. hasn't seen Mai Fisher for four years, a condition set by Mai's husband, Alexei Bukharin. Still, it's time for a surprise visit to The Hague. With Alexei retired from field work and now in a job at The Hague, Mai joins him at the War Crimes Tribunal as head of security. And she hates it. She longs to be back doing what she's always done: making a difference, but she's committed to keeping her marriage intact. She welcomes Terrell's visit, at least until he reveals why he's come to see her. He's dying, and he wants Mai to assure his death goes exactly as he's planned. Despite what Alexei may think, Mai is not going to let Terrell die alone.
