Overview

The story tells about a woman who was born in the nineteenth century and lived until 1972. The reader will get to know Elizabeth as the quiet, hard working person who lived mostly for others. She was born in Glencoe, Minnesota and later lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The reader will get to know how this person lived in her childhood, married life and retired years. Elizabeth lived for others and always put herself last. What others did or needed was her main concern. Elizabeth s life is valuable not because she did outstanding things but because she lived life as it was handed to her. In a simple way, Elizabeth was someone people loved to know and learned from. Besides all of this, you will read about events and life in the areas over one hundred years ago up to 1972. I was born and educated in Minnesota and taught English and Spanish in Southern California until 2002, when I retired and moved to Spokane Valley, Washington. During the past twelve years, I have taught English and Spanish in my home to anyone who wanted to learn. I spent time writing books and working in my yard being on my own schedule. This book, which I am so pleased to have written is about my grandma, someone who taught me a lot just by the way she lived. It was fun having this book come to life to let others know Elizabeth or know her as I knew her. This is my fourth, published book. I have had several poems published. It is my hope that others will enjoy all about Elizabeth. Enjoy the story about a great person, one who never knew that.
