"Shelita Anderson is an author. Reading and writing from a very young age, Shelita has published three children's books, ""What God Says About Me"", ""I Think Myself Happy"" and ""God's Creation I Can See"". Her books are written for children of all ages. Shelita's life mission is to write for, encourage and uplift people of all ages and to bring a word of hope to the world. In her latest book, ""My Mommy, Cancer, and Me"", Shelita writes to children who have parents or caregivers that have cancer. This is a serious issue and children need to know that they have support. Their family members are being cared for and they can make a difference in their parent's lives. Shelita was born in Houston, TX. She is a Registered Nurse (RN), wife and mother. Shelita has worked in healthcare for more than 30 years. She is an oncology certified nurse (OCN) and has worked in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Her work in oncology started in an oncology day care area where chemotherapy was given. She also worked as clinic coordinator and charge nurse. Mrs. Anderson has also served as a bedside nurse, manager and director of oncology services. She currently works as a nursing director for a large healthcare organization in Texas."
