OverviewFor anyone who has been on the roller coaster of infertility, then this book is for you. The heartache, the grief and the anger of not being able to give birth to a beautiful baby stays with you and can infect every area of your life. But it doesn't have to... My Last BFN takes you on the author's personal journey of the grieving process after giving up on her dream of having children. As a woman who has been blessed with children, I have never really dived so deeply into the world of infertility. I have friends who have been successful with IVF and friends who haven't, but never have I been able to get such a raw insight into the pain and anguish of a couple living this challenge. My hope is that the author and her husband find joy in many other areas of life that won't supersede the desire for children, but might make the journey they will have together as fulfilling as possible. I also suggest anyone interested in alternative healing remedies choose this book for the exercises Rosemary offers in self reflection. I highly recommend this book. Deeply moving As i read this book i could feel the deep gut wrenching pain of the author as she came to terms with the fact that she would never carry a child. I was blown away by her feelings towards her body, which she felt had let her down. Her strength of character shone through with her choice, not only to love herself fully and her subsequent journey to acceptance of her life as it is, but to help others in the same position by providing these tools. She is an inspiring woman. Thank you Rosemary. Heartbreak & Healing Exceptionally well written book of a very personal and painful journey. Even through all the heartbreak and grief Rosemary Davey [de Vos] has written this book in a way that can help many others going through the same heartbreak. She describes her emotions in great detail, some of it very raw and candid and then uses her professional knowledge and offers help on how to deal with all these emotions. I hope this book reaches all the people who are feeling lost and broken in their lives because of infertility and helps them realise that they are not alone. A Healing Account I found this book to be a rather harrowing account of the author's journey through the trials of failed pregnancies and coming to accept her life without children. Each chapter goes through her personal experiences and the ups and downs. At the end of each chapter is a session to help deal with the feelings and work through the grief and disappointment. This is a well written book that is very easy to read send I'm sure it will help a lot of women to heal. Amazing This book brought up a lot of emotion on my own infertility journey, but I was one of the lucky ones, I understand the agony and heartache that Rosemary and her partner have endured and my heart breaks, beautifully written and i do love the fact that this book also is there to help you through the stages.
