The book is written in words that kids can understand and is appropriate for any child, no matter the reason they are staying in the hospital. The book has a simple storyline about someone who has already spent the night at the hospital, but it also includes lots of additional tips and explanations at the bottom of each page. The book would be great for a child before, during, or after their hospital stay. It was written with the goal of answering many of the questions that children ask about the hospital such as: What will I eat at the hospital? Where will I sleep? Can my parent be with me?
