OverviewA continuation from book I, where David is kidnapped to Russia by his boyfriend Jacko; a sleeper KGB agent. They operate on his back and he can now walk with the aid of leg braces and crutches. David is put to work as a mechanic at The Project which is a large worker housing block, and is well accepted by the other mechanics, but David always had a plan in his mind to escape. David finds and old WWII ambulance and starts to restore it, but Jacko is taken by the MVD and David has to rescue him and Jacko's family. This story tells of their flight to safety in the west and their eventual life in Ireland.
