T'was quite the stroke of luck. COVID-19. You see, a devastating accident that followed a number of heart-tearing disasters within my own life, from losing loved ones, to soul-wrenching catastrophes cast upon moi from close relatives as well as immediate family members. I'd decided to withdraw from the world in an effort of self preservation. Fore, it was done to make those whom I'd known and loved dearly remember how I was, whilst forgetting me forever. From there, another queer moment took place in this perfect storm of sorts. As a many human beings were gasping for air, I was catching my breath for the first time in a feather's brush below five years. I hadn't intended on writing a novel, being anyone's hero, nor had I known that such a thing was possible after everything I'd been through prior to the absence arriving. T'was merely the human side of the story; though, as stories often do, it evolved. A once somewhat sturdy relationship began to deteriorate, while others had begun to blossom seemingly out of the blue. It became something I couldn't control, as though, the true tale would simply write itself within my mind. Simply put, my hands had become the instrument through which said syllables were poured onto the page. Fore, I had been a ghost. However, when a ghost comes back from the dead for more than a meager haunt, well, the question of how said phantom had died begins to be begged.
