Reviews

"""Gary Smith has done it again! He's given us an entertaining story that plunges the reader into adventure and mystery in old-time Colorado. Thanks and appreciation from a fellow Coloradan."" -Karen Gerdes, Retired University English Teacher ""Gary Smith's Murder on Money Mountain put flesh on the bones of Cripple Creek. As a Colorado native, I knew of Cripple Creek but knew nothing about its history. An enjoyable read as attorney Coyle represents defendants in two separate murder cases. Coyle doesn't deviate from his moral code in an immoral culture."" -Bob Cross, Retired Oil Company Executive ""While reading and trying to find who the murderer is, G. Eldon Smith has skillfully intertwined some fascinating history of the early days in Cripple Creek and Victor and a delightful glance of Andrew Coyle's family. An intriguing and fun read and a good mystery."" -Roxie Harper, Retired Public School Teacher ""A delightful read depicting life in a mining town at the turn of the century woven into the interesting twists and turns of an action-packed double-murder mystery. All with a fun family touch."" -Wade Biggs, Retired Writer for Stars and Stripes ""I sent two of G. Eldon Smith's books as Christmas presents. [I'm] looking forward to the next one."" -Vivian Fausset, Former Weekly Columnist Longmont Daily Times Call"
