In its approximately ninety-year history, the Miss America Pageant has brought with it fame and then obscurity for most of its winners. But one alpha girl there is among them whose success morphs only to even more accolades, in showbiz, until her rise crashes amid her well-publicised wrangles with paparazzi, illegal drugs, the media's 'body fascists' and her billionaire husband, from whom she splits, claiming he is none but an adulterer...
