Overview

It's been a while since Jed Sanderson has been on a date. When he finally scores one, the world decides to end. A deadly infection has spread across the globe, turning people violent and feral. As they travel to take refuge at Jed's isolated farm in the mountains, they pick up other survivors. Not only must they all learn to get along with each other, but they must also prepare for when the massive horde of infected reaches the mountain. Nate, Jed's mentally ill brother, struggles with figuring out what is real and what is in his head. It doesn't help that he only has a limited supply of his medications. He is constantly frustrated that no one believes him when he says the house is haunted. With every passing second, the infected grow in numbers, and all the group has to defend themselves is whatever is around them and a bag of narcotics. Things begin to become even stranger when unexplainable things begin happening at the farm, causing the group to wonder if Nate's ramblings are actually true. If that wasn't bad enough, Alicia joins their group after escaping an abusive cult... and they want her back, no matter the cost.
