Morris County Law

Overview

Morris County Law is the third enthralling saga in the Morris County Series. It introduces an array of new characters, including the Latrobes, a family of Appalachian outlaws. You'll also meet Coon Eyes Bordeaux, Cowboy Earnie Crabtree (a down-on-his luck country music singer), a cat burglar, and a wrongly sentenced murderess, among other intriguing residents of Morris County, West Virginia and Eastern Kentucky. They all converge in the world of Tar Man characters Sam Barber, Vada Temple, Willy Van Atter, and one-eyed FBI Agent Laylo Bookens. The book also brings back Officer Wade Burgess, sneaky defense attorney Sterling Beckman, and lawmen Harold D. Lord and Otto Purkey from Dale Lucha's highly reviewed first novel Both Sides of Bare Tree Mountain. Get Ready for another unforgettable journey through the winding roads of Morris County. ""The tale is as twisty as a mountain road, as galvanizing as a break-neck carnival ride, as deep as a well of regrets, and as shocking as a dark deed that was long forgotten but suddenly remembered.""

Author Information

Dale Lucha grew up in the coalfields of West Virginia during the 1950s and 1960s. He and his wife Sandi still make their home in the hills. A third-generation miner, Lucha worked in the coal industry for more than forty years in a career that grew to executive positions with major U.S. coal companies. He became the owner of an international consulting business. This is Dale's third published novel. As in his previous works, Lucha brings his intimate understanding of the unique culture and incomparable Appalachian characters to the pages of Morris County Law.
