Overview

Red Rising thrilled readers and announced the presence of a talented new author. Golden Son changed the game and took the story of Darrow to the next level. Now comes the exhilarating next chapter in the Red Rising Saga: Morning Star. Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music! Darrow would have lived in peace, but his enemies brought him war. The Gold overlords demanded his obedience, hanged his wife, and enslaved his people. But Darrow is determined to fight back. Risking everything to transform himself and breach Gold society, Darrow has battled to survive the cutthroat rivalries that breed Society's mightiest warriors, climbed the ranks, and waited patiently to unleash the revolution that will tear the hierarchy apart from within. Finally, the time has come. But devotion to honor and hunger for vengeance run deep on both sides. Darrow and his comrades-in-arms face powerful enemies without scruple or mercy. Among them are some Darrow once considered friends. To win, Darrow will need to inspire those shackled in darkness to break their chains, unmake the world their cruel masters have built, and claim a destiny too long denied--and too glorious to surrender. Performed by Stewart Crank, Jenna Sharpe, Kay Eluvian, Jon Vertullo, John Kielty, Julie-Ann Elliott, Karen Novak, Jeff Baker, Nhea Durrosseau, Andrew James Spooner, Andy Brownstein, Andy Clemence, Bradley Foster Smith, Colleen Delany, Danny Gavigan, Elena Anderson, Ian Putnam, Ken Jackson, Kimberly Gilbert, Laura C. Harris, Lucy Symons, Marni Penning, Martin Dickinson, Matthew Bassett, Melody Muze, Michael Glenn, Michael John Casey, Nanette Savard, Peter Stanley, Richard Rohan, Shanta Parasuraman, Stephanie Nemeth-Parker, Todd Scofield, and Yasmin Tuazon.

Author Information

Pierce Brown the New York Times bestselling author of Red Rising, Golden Son, Morning Star, and Iron Gold. His work has been published in thirty-three languages and thirty-five territories. With over eighty titles to his name, Stewart Crank has developed a reputation as a solid and reliable voice-over artist, consistently delivering quality audio to his clients. Originally from Lancashire in the North of England, his burgeoning audiobook career has seen him tackle a wide array of genres, from historical fantasy to noir and true crime and most recently a version of Ulysses by James Joyce, widely regarded as the most difficult English language book to read in the world. When not recording, Stewart spends his time rock climbing or slowly making his way through his ever-expanding list of unwatched classic films. Julie-Ann Elliott is a Washington DC-based stage, film, and tv actor, as well as voice-over artist. Combining her talents as a performer with her love of language and books, she began narrating audiobooks for The Library of Congress's National Library Service, recording over 100 books in various genres. She holds an MFA in Acting from The Catholic University of America and is a member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA. Julie-Ann lives in Southern Maryland between the Chesapeake Bay and the Patuxent River. Jon Vertullo is a voice-over and on-camera talent who has been performing on mic, stage, and screen since the age of ten. Jon's voice has been described as ""friendly, trustworthy, and engaging, with a sprinkling of nerdy fun!"" When he isn't performing, Jon enjoys spending time with his family and finding new and exciting restaurants to try.
