OverviewMonitoring and evaluation (M&E) are vital for effective humanitarian aid delivery, especially in volatile areas facing armed conflict and violence, leading to civilian rights violations. In South and North West Cameroon, where humanitarian operations began in late 2017 amid conflict, challenges like access obstruction hinder M&E practices.Humanitarian organizations in these regions encounter difficulties, notably in collecting primary data. Despite reports highlighting these challenges, academic references and scientific studies lack comprehensive insights into these obstacles. This research addresses this gap, aiming to understand challenges and opportunities in M&E for Humanitarian Aid, focusing on IDPs Assistance in North West and South West Cameroon. By exploring specific issues faced by organizations, the study seeks to improve M&E practices, enhancing aid impact in conflict-prone regions. The research contributes valuable insights for better strategies in monitoring and evaluating humanitarian interventions in complex environments.
