"Mary Haylock is a retired teacher with the Hamilton Board of Education, having spent 38 years working in the field of education. She graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario in 1970 with a degree in English Literature. Mary recently (Nov. 2018) won an award for a short story she entered in a contest sponsored by the Hamilton Arts and Letters magazine. Mary's first book, ""9249*"" was published in 2019. ""Moments on a Staircase"" published in 2020 is her second book."
