Born in Belgrade, Serbia. 48 years old. Father of one daughter. Completed Medical School in Belgrade as third best graduate and obtained MD degree in 1992. Finished residency in Psychiatry in 1998 and got board certification in 2002. Started professional career in Pharmaceutical Medical Affairs as CNS Medical Advisor in 1994 and worked on numerous psychiatric and neurological compounds with global pharmaceutical companies for the next 5 years. After obtaining board certification worked for almost 10 years in his own private practice. In the last 4 years working in clinical research field on global clinical trials in various positions dealing with client consultation on clinical development plans and protocol design, medical monitoring and clinical assessments training and psychometric data surveillance. Numerous presentations on innovative approaches in treating psychiatric patients at international congresses (ECNP, CINP). Representative of Advisory Board at European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP) since 2010. Publications in European and US psychiatric journals including official journal of the European Psychiatric Association, official journal of Collegium Internationale Neuro-Psychopharmacologicum (CINP) and the official journal of the American Neuropsychiatric Association. Member of Editorial Boards of numerous peer-review journals such as Annals of General Psychiatry, Neuropsychiatric Disease and Treatment and Innovations in Clinical Neuroscience.
