Author Information

Phil Lines graduated in Electronics Engineering in 1986 and then later took a Master's degree in Business Administration. His life has taken many re-incarnations, Maths lecturer, training officer for a blue-chip company in London, private Maths tutor, sales manager in the field of mobile telecommunications, sales director in the family business but most importantly; a parent. He has mentored employees and successfully taught many students to understand, enjoy and even excel at their Maths exams at various levels; 11 plus, Key Stage 3, GCSE and A level. Many of us (including the author) would like to arrest the decline in our nation's ability to cope with the rigours of Mathematics. Phil does so, student by student, as a tutor but wants to help parents to help their children with their Maths studies which starts with helping them with their Maths homework.
