Author Information

Harriet Thorpe is a writer, journalist and editor based in London, covering architecture, urbanism, design and culture, with particular interest in sustainability, 20th century architecture and community. After studying History of Art at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and Journalism at City University in London, she developed her interest in architecture working at Wallpaper* magazine and contributes to further titles such as The World of Interiors and Icon magazine. Independent publisher Blue Crow Media has published a series of maps featuring urban architecture, design, trees and more.
