Reviews

The third edition of this book, often referred to as the cabinetmaker's bible, has been reprinted with John Kelsey as editor. According to Kelsey, this classic, published first in 1908, remains the most comprehensive and complete treatise for the woodworker and furniture maker in the English language. the third edition was written after power tools became available but while hand tools and skills were still used, so both approaches are presented side-by-side, Kelsey notes. This modern reprint is digitally enhanced with measured drawings formatted for usefulness.
