She moved to the United States to pursue a Master's Degree in Advanced Architectural Design at Columbia University. As soon as she graduated, she began working in the office of the prestigious architect Steven Holl, until she dedicated herself exclusively to artistic work in 2016. Her work has been exhibited in New York at the Accessible Art Fair, The Rush Arts Gallery and Figment NYC, among others, as well as in Barcelona and Madrid. The comics depicting her life with an irascible, adorable pug, Mochi, quickly found an audience of dog-lovers around the world and led to the publication of several books in Spain, as well as Living With Mochi, her first book published in English.
