As an educator and a father, David understood the need for more bilingual and bicultural books. Brownie Books was created once David and his wife Kaylyn became parents. Brownie Books comes from David's coaching nickname ""Coach Brownie."" He named himself Coach Brownie to easily break the ice with the little ones he coached. Who doesn't love brownies anyways?! He is a Southwestern Assemblies of God U. graduate and a Pre-K teacher in Waxahachie, TX. He coaches soccer to children as young as two years old and as old as 18 years old. David and Kaylyn married in 2012 after meeting in college. They are a bilingual, biracial, and bicultural couple whose dream is to continue to foster the love they have for Texas and El Salvador to their daughters Aspen and Lincoln.
