She was educated at a brand-new Grammar School only a few kilometres from her home. Liz's burning ambition as a child was to be a vet or a doctor. She married in 1968 and had two children, a daughter and a son. In 1980 the family moved to Perth, Western Australia. Her husband Patrick became a Senior Systems Analyst and she graduated in teaching at WACAE (later to become Edith Cowan University). Liz has also completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Health Promotion) at ECU. She has always loved writing poems, and drawing cartoons for friends, health professionals and tradies over the last 40 years. Patrick loved her reading them, and encouraged her to put them into print. Sadly, Patrick passed away in December 2019. Liz hopes these poems and cartoons bring a smile or chuckle to readers. Midnight Owl was chosen as the title because Liz often gets inspiration to write late at night. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
