After finishing his PDF (postdoc) at DBT-NCCS in Pune, he became an Assistant Professor at Savitribai Phule Pune University, known as ""the Oxford of the East"". Later on, he joined the Yenepoya Research Center in Mangalore (Karnataka, India) and currently serves as an Associate Professor.
