I enjoyed every word of Metamorphosis. https: //www.barnesandnoble.com/w/metamorphosis-d-l-heather/1132166069?ean=9780578542072 Loved it! A beautiful collection of poetry that tells a full story that could be anyone's. Metamorphosis is a beautiful collection of poems that encompass the story of a life time as they go from beginnings to endings, love to heartbreak, pain to healing, and longing to letting go. The poems are written in the 'Haiku poem' form, making them short and going straight to the point, but still so eloquent as the words were clearly chosen carefully to invoke the purest and realist of emotions. Both the struggles and the resolutions are relatable and realistic, portraying every day real life experiences in a beautiful form of art, which is never an easy thing to do. Ms. D. L. Heather writes so elegantly, making her poems understandable despite the complex feelings they express, and an entertaining read despite them reflecting strong emotions. The art work copies the poems in being both simple yet elaborate, sticking to black and white as its prime colors to express all the colors of emotions elaborated on in the poems. The poems and artwork compliment each other beautifully, making this book lovely and worth checking out for both its look and its content. The book is a short, quick read. I recommend it to anyone who likes poetry in general, and the Haiku form in particular.
