Overview

Designs of the versatile variet of the famed fighter. The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the backbone of the German Luftwaffe. Versatile, tough and well armoured, this nimble fighter was one of the most advanced aircraft of its era. Yet, even the perfect plane can be improved upon. The G variant was designed with a reinforced wing structure, bullet-proof windscreen and additional light-alloy armour. This gave the plane even greater versatility in combat, so much so it became the favourite of Erich Hartmann, the world's top scoring fighter ace. Lavishly illustrated and filled with A4 drawings, this booklet is the perfect choice for any aspiring aviation modeller. A4 drawing sheets

This book will be of great interest to aircraft historians and modelers alike. --AMPS Indianapolis This publication is highly recommended. The color profiles are of superior quality, as are the scale profiles. The primary language is Polish, but the English translations read naturally and without any difficulty. The publication provides the Bf-109 enthusiast with an excellent tool to describe and define the variants presented to the reader. The illustrations and the pull-out sheet highlighting the differences in the Gustav variants will be extremely useful for modelers. --IPMS/USA
