Robert Louis Grottke received his bachelor's degree from Northwestern University. He has public accountant certifications in Illinois, Iowa, and Michigan. During his career as a certified public accountant, Grottke supervised audits for companies in retail, manufacturing, and other major industries. He also served as an expert witness for a number of legal cases, including some involving shareholder disputes, industry practices, valuations, predatory pricing, divorces, and labor disputes. Grottke has also published several books about accounting, productivity, and management. He is a former member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers, a current member of the Illinois CPA Society, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
