Michael Adams is a happily married, proud resident of Massachusetts who doesn't usually write, or until a few years ago even paid much attention to politics. He also has an extended family that always votes a straight Democratic ticket, without ever looking at the actual names on the ballot. Sick and tired of serving his political opinions piecemeal over Thanksgiving dinner, he wrote this book. Michael Adams greatly appreciates the fact that books being silent by their very nature, written arguments may devolve into shouting matches only metaphorically.
