Wesley P. Gilliam, Ph.D., L.P., is a board-certified clinical health psychologist in Mayo Clinic's Department of Psychiatry and Psychology and an assistant professor of psychology at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. He is the clinical director of Mayo Clinic's Adult Interdisciplinary Pain Rehabilitation Center program. His expertise is in treating chronic pain and his interests include health psychology and behavioral medicine, and the effects of long-term opioid use for chronic pain. His areas of clinical research include biopsychosocial conceptualizations of chronic pain, the degree to which psychosocial factors influence acute and chronic pain intensity, underlying pathways by which psychosocial factors exert such effect, and the degree to which these factors predict response to chronic pain treatment.   Bruce Sutor, M.D., is an assistant professor of psychiatry at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science and is the immediate past medical director of Mayo Clinic's Adult Interdisciplinary Pain Rehabilitation Center program. His research interests include chronic pain and dementia. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
