Overview

"Mayo Clinic Challenging Images for Pulmonary Board Review is a collection of over 150 entities selected from over 1,500 examples of very unusual intrathoracic conditions, spanning more than 45 years of service by a highly respected clinician. Appropriate images of all these conditions are shown along with the ""pearls"" of how to interpret the chest x-ray and other images. As the old adage says, 'a picture is worth a thousand words,' so by spending a few minutes, or less, on each of the 100+ conditions, the reader won't forget what he or she saw, thereby possibly saving the patient expensive, sometimes invasive, surgeries. This will be indispensable resource for every pulmonologist, thoracic surgeon, and radiologist."
