The integration of nursing care plans and nursing diagnosis is very well written. It is excellent for students. The Common Surgical procedures are very good. The inclusion of the algorithm is great for visual learners. [I] liked the tie in to Healthy People 2010. This really brings in preventative care. It is critical at the Baccalaureate level to learn about Community Health Care Instructions. -- Ricci Kyle is easier to read, tables are great [Ch. 12]. Teaching guidelines are also great and offer more to students than our current book thus keeping students involved and it's relevant and accessible vs. reading too much. -- The care plans are most readable.
