A biographical chronology and a selected bibliography complete this elegant and comprehensive monograph. Massimiliano Fuksas (b. 1944 Rome) lives and works in Rome and Paris. Recipient of numerous awards in architecture including the prestigious French Grand Prix d'Architecture, Fuksas has dedicated many years to the study of urban problems and in particular the suburbs. He has taught architecture at several universities, including Columbia University and the Ecole Speciale d'Architecture in Paris. He writes a column on architecture for the Italian weekly ""L'Espresso""."
