OverviewMarbles & Marvels is a nursery rhyme for small children. It is a short story about the Elgin Marbles that were in the Parthenon in Greece. Lord Elgin had them moved from Greece to England. They were placed in a museum. Museum cleaners chipped them, and some children did not follow the rules in the museum. A Queen had them moved to a back hall during wartime. The cleaners and children are the marvels. Some people believe the marbles should be returned to Greece while others do not. There is a replica of the Parthenon in Nashville, TN.
