OverviewThis book is written from a Biblical point of view. I am offering a common-sense understanding of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, etc. As a Christian, grounded in Scripture, I have a Biblical view of man. The Biblical view of man is in direct contrast to the world's view of a person. Prevailing thought from man's wisdom is that a person is the product of his or her environment, genetics, and/or brain chemistry. Once this is accepted, it is easy to conclude that a person is a victim of their circumstances and they are therefore not responsible or accountable for their behavior. In contrast, the Bible is clear that man is made in God's image possessing mind, emotion, and will. Biblically, we are held responsible and accountable for what we think, feel, say, and do. Man is not a victim, he or she is the product of the choices they make. In Man's Wisdom or God's Wisdom? I examine the validity of the biochemical approach to treat so-called mental disorders. I show the reason we have mental, emotional, and behavioral issues isn't complicated. The solution to these issues isn't complicated either.
